Foods to Increase Breast Milk

If you're a lactating mother or planning to be pregnant, then read on.

Breast milk is the first thing babies get to drink after they are born. The initial milk coming from a mother contains colostrum which is very vital to a newborn's developing immune system. It is high in immunoglobulin which aids in the development of the immune system.

The following are foods to take to increase breast milk:

Brown rice
Avocado
Beets
Carrots
Barley
Plenty of water
Soup based meals
