ReplyDeletei tried exploring this before too, however, the locations are usually too far from national parks which we prefer exploring, i guess because of the restrictions placed on national parks to preserve the pristine surrounding, wilderness, and peacefulness in nature, only a certain number ( very small number ) of hotels are allowed. so i guess, while we have not changed our travel style, we would be stuck with hotels :(

ReplyDeleteMy sister-in-law and her family have a timeshare that they're very happy with. They've been able to swap and stay in several different cities and states. I'm not sure it's in our budget right now, but renting a timeshare is definitely something we've been thinking about.
