I love to drink tea. I bring tea bags at work and even when we go on our travels. I always have few tea bags packed. Aside from tea bags, I also have loose tea leaves that I brew during weekends. Unfortunately, I don't have any small strainer for the loose tea leaves and they end up on my cup of tea which is not how I want to drink my tea.
So, the Libre Tea Glass is a wonder in itself and I thank Energetic Marketing, a fully 100% Canadian company that sells this brand - Libre (Lee-brah), for providing me this beautiful insulated tea glass to use now for my loose tea leaves.
Libre Tea Glass is sold in 3 sizes - Large, Original, Libre Glass n' Poly Mug. Libre Tea Glass is also sold by sets of 6 per size and style.
The Large Libre Tea Glass holds around 14 oz, the Original around 9 oz, and the mug around 10 oz. I chose the large one so I can make 2 full cups and sip my tea in the morning and in the afternoon.
What I like:
It is easy to carry. You can put it in your tote bag or hold it.
It is double-walled and made of Borosilicate glass inside which is similar to "Pyrex." So, even if you poured very hot water, your hands will not get burned because of the insulation.
It can be used for both hot and cold.
1 Large Libre Tea Glass can fill 2 normal sized mugs.
The tea stays hot/warm for almost 2 hours. However, this, I believe, will be subjective to the temperature of your room.
It has a small strainer inside the lid so the loose tea leaves won't get poured to your mug or cup.
It is easy to wash and dry.
What I don't like:
This is not the company's fault. I have missed to take into consideration the size of my hand, palm and grip when I ordered the Large tumbler. I should have taken the smaller size so it would be easier to open. I just had to fumble a few times when twisting the lid open because I have small hand and my grip is not enough for the large size. Next time, I will get the original size.
Price: US$ 29/ CAD 32/ GBP 23 - Large Libre Tea Glass

Volume: 420mL (14 oz.)
Size: approximately 8.75” (21.875cm) tall, 3.0” (7.50cm) diameter

My recommendation:
I highly recommend this product but take note of your hand, palm and grip size so you can order the appropriate glass size.
