Party Supplies Business

I am thinking of so many business to engage in when I have the right amount of capital to start with. I have a list of the business I want to pursue if ever I save enough money. One of the business I have in mind is to put up a party supplies store and a custom cake bakery. The combination is perfect!

The party supplies store will have the knick-knacks needed in parties of different kind. There will be various types and colors of balloons, streamers and banners, tables and stackable chairs for less, confetti, paper plates and cups, utensils, party hats and noise makers and party favors. The added convenience of having a party supplies store is the custom-cake bakery which will cater to the clients. It will be a party supplies store all in one.

I know it will cost me a fortune to set this up. My in-laws are willing to share and offer a place I can rent out or even use for free but it is not in the city. It is still early to say since I do not have the capital yet but it is all in my head now. If this does not pan out as I hoped to be then I can pursue my other interests in the retail world of fashion.

Updating the Living Room

We went to Ikea last weekend to check out some nice contemporary sofas and other trinkets to display in our living room. Ikea was on "part sale" so my husband decided to purchase a black coffee table to replace the old, white one we have.

There were so many nice sofas and tables that made us reconsider updating our old furniture at home. I am sure there will be further reduction at Ikea since it is Dubai Summer Surprise until August. Most shops in Dubai during this festival offers huge discounts on their merchandise.

We know exactly what I want from Ikea. We are just waiting for the big, big sale.

Time for a Party!

Party organizers must be getting their plans and materials ready for the holiday season. Even companies are holding their annual Christmas Parties and the employees are all excited. Who would not be? With all the exchange of pleasantries, merriment, gifts and food abound; having a great party is indeed one to look forward to.

I am sure that suppliers of materials used in parties must be having a ball of time meeting orders and running after clients for future events because of the holiday season. I wonder how the event organizers or party hosts or hostess are coming up with their planning and execution during this time?

Holding a party takes a lot of work and preparation. One has to consider many factors before jumping to the planning stage of holding a great and fun party. Issues like theme, location, date, attendees, food, supplies and most important are the commercial tables and chairs are just a few to note when preparing a party.

I have not attended a standing party yet so if I am to host my own party, I will definitely need folding tables and stackable chairs. I cannot imagine causing inconvenience to my guests by keeping them on their feet for long. So having chairs and tables around will be vital to have a fun-filled and successful party.
