Dubai Jazz Festival 2017

Dubai Jazz Festival is one of the big annual events happening in Dubai. It was launched in 2003 and had been graced by many well-known rock bands and artists in the past. I have not been in any of the jazz fest yet because most of the time, I am out of the country on vacation leave and sometimes, the budget would be so tight that I couldn't afford a general ticket let alone a premium one!

The upcoming event will be the headline by one of my favorites - Enrique Iglesias! I really like that guy a lot and his music is very captivating. The previous years were graced by Toto, Sting, John Legend, to name a few.

The Dubai Jazz Festival is just not about the jazz genre itself. It aims to promote jazz to the region while also embracing other musical genre into one big event that usually lasts for more than a week of fun and entertainment.

Dubai Air Show 2011

It is such a welcome treat to watch the acrobatic stints of some fighter planes in the clear Dubai sky for free. It is Dubai Air Show this week and I don't even have to shell out a penny to watch it from the airport's grand stand. Why pay when I can get a free, unobstructed view of the show?

I am so fascinated with aircraft and the warplanes flying close to the ground and near my building is such a sight to behold. I have so much respect for the pilots flying the planes because it takes a lot of attention to detail, 100% alertness and acumen to precise movements to manouever and aircraft in high altitude and in great speed. Great job!
