Quake Hits U.S. East Coast

A magnitude of 5.9 quake rattled the east coast side of U.S. today at 1.51 p.m. EDT. The earthquake was centered Northwest of Richmond, Va. It shook Washington D.C as well and evacuation was conducted on the White House, Capitol and part of the Pentagon.

The rambling was felt as far as Rhode Island, New York City and Martha's Vineyard in Mass. where the US president is vacationing.

No casualties has been reported.
