Our humble 2012 Christmas tree |
Our theme this year is blue and silver and few touches of red. We had the same theme 2 years ago so we just recycled whatever we have already. The only addition to the ornament is the NYC circular ornament we got last Oct. 2012 from New York. My hubby had a light bulb moment when he purchased the NYC ornament. We thought of buying similar ornaments from around the world. So the next time we travel to another country or even in US states, we will definitely get one of that.
Our tree is quite simple in terms of decoration. I don't feel like over doing the decor since we won't be spending the Christmas here in Dubai anyway. I told my husband that we'll go crazy like the one below when we have our dream house because I prefer having a very tall Christmas tree so there'll be enough room to adorn it.

I'll be setting up our own Christmas Tree right after this comment but with recycled decors as well. :)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing pictures of Christmas tree! For this year, my mom chose to have a gold-themed three. :)
ReplyDeletesimple but looking elegant! you have a nice Christmas Tree out there sis! merry Christmas there is no turning back :))
ReplyDeleteYeah, what's the point of having a chunky tree if you're not spending the holiday there. Your Christmas tree and decorations are nice. Love the blue motif.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby keeps on asking me to have a real tree this Christmas. But I want it to be memorable so I told him that we should settle to our last year's tree and save the fresh one when we already have a baby. I'm so hoping that it will be next year.
Blue and Silver are colors that I love! Your Christmas tree looks great; simple and elegant looking....may the Christmas season be joyous and blessed on your side of the world :)

ReplyDeleteSimplicity is beauty ika nga, I love your theme!
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas tree! That's one thing I will never want to celebrate the holiday season without.. At nung nag-college ako, hinihintay nila akong umuwi lagi para ako maglagay at mag decorate ulet.. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to have a theme each year for decorating our tree. I like the idea of having a tall and slim tree, it saves a lot of space.: -)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments everyone :) Merry Christmas from my home to yours :) God Bless!!!

ReplyDeleteoh... like a Christmas Tree that is simple yet you can tell the glowing of each ornament than those stuff-kind-of-Tree
ReplyDeleteWell-decorated Christmas Tree. Hindi naglalaban ang mga decors. I mean, each decor is placed where it perfectly shines.
ReplyDeleteits looks good, simplicity is the best. we missed our old 6ft christmas tree now and all the decorations around, still in container and for shipping here early next year. :) but because we are not going to Phils. this holiday, we just bought a little smaller than our old one. not to many choices here in Bkk, but we got a snowy christmas tree, we are dreaming of white christmas yata. hehehe! i wanted blue and silver but we ended up with pink, purple, gold and silver...halo-halo na! hehehe! :) but what great is, kids and us enjoyed putting up our tree. merry christmas to you and to your family. :)
