Know Fashion, But Do What You Want

There is a famous speech by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. where he says that people should not be judged by the color of their skin but the content of their character. It is sort of a variation on the theme of not judging a book by its cover. While Dr. King was talking about racial discrimination, the idea of not judging someone based on appearances is one that runs rampant through American culture. It is a nice thought, but people still judge one another by what they look like. Rarely do you get to know someone who you do not like on first impression, and there are arguments for going with your gut. Even when it should not matter what someone looks like, you will still want to look good, and if you click here, you can find some items that will make the vehicle you drive look better.

‘Pretty Woman’

In Pretty Woman, Julia Roberts' character goes into Beverly Hills to buy some clothes. The salesperson takes one look at Roberts, turns up her nose, and tells Roberts that she cannot be helped. Of course, at this point in the film, Roberts had a big wad of cash, so after she is finally able to get some help and buy some clothes at a different store, she goes back to the woman at the first store and asks if the girl worked on commission. The girl says that she does and Roberts holds up everything she bought during the day – “Big mistake.” The message is clear that the salesgirl missed out on a huge payday because she judged Roberts by the clothes that she was wearing when she first came into the store.

Fashion

The compulsion to be fashionable is endemic in human cultures. Every culture may have its own idea of what fashion is, but every culture does have a sense of what looks good to them. When choosing the right accessories for your car with a click here, you will want to keep in mind what Americans consider fashionable and then do what makes you feel good.

Tinted Windows and More

Summer has officially arrived here in Dubai. It did make a grand entrance by making us feel the dry and scorching heat of Dubai's summer sun. Our bodies are like being baked in the oven. Running from the air-conditioned premise of our home and the office to our car parked outside is such a feat! Imagine those poor vehicles left under the very hot sun's rays for long. If they can only talk, I am sure they are already cursing us.

My husband is planning to have our car's window tinted and he will check for other car accessories to help diffuse the extreme heat. I don't know why we never had it tinted in the first place when we took the car from the dealer. They were already offering discounted rates and branded tints but we begged off. My husband just don't like how the people here apply the tints on the windows. They put the tints "outside" the window and not from the inner part. So, in due time, the tint wears and tears and make it virtually impossible to see from the inside. It is very hazardous.

I am thankful though that our vehicle is well maintained. At least I am not so worried about the air-condition unit breaking down or prematurely lose its freon. My husband and I just feel that we have to do this soon or we will end up toasted from the sun's unforgiving heat.

A Girl's Chevy Camaro Love

I have seen myriad of flashy cars running the streets of modern Dubai. I have seen Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Bentleys, Porches and even the distinguished Rolls Royce cars plying the main thoroughfares of cosmopolitan Dubai. However, I prefer to drive simple but performance-enriched cars like the Chevy Camaro decked with the chevy camaro accessories I can find. I do not have a Camaro but I do not mind having one at all! Why not make it two? One for me and one for my husband? That will be sweet!

People raise their eyebrows whenever I tell them I want to drive a Chevy Camaro. They always tell me that it is a boy's car. So what if it is? I do not recall any law stating that a Chevy Camaro can only be driven by the testosterone laden species we call men.

It is like a love at first sight for me. I just love the fluid-like design of this car. It looks so intimidating and means serious business. I like the black colored Chevy Camaro. It reminds me of Michael Knight's Knight Rider car. Beautiful!

I want my Chevy Camaro to have a different edge so I want it without the 2 strips of line like the other previous release. I want it plain black, not just black but glossy black. I want it decked with custom grilles either in black or ash grey color. I will loose the side skirts but will love to see my rims in black alloy and low profile tires. Sporty and classy too.

I may be a girl but I have my preference when it comes to driving a car. I will either drive a big SUV or a car like Chevy Camaro.

I cannot say it is a girl's dream come true to drive a Chevy Camaro but if I can have one, it will definitely be a dream come true for me.
