Moving out of your parent's house is a big step for anyone to make; you are starting a life on your own and are ready to take on the world. Most kids move out after high school when they are about to start college. As you start looking for a dorm or different housing options, you will find that there are many options to choose from. With many options, you will quickly find that not all of them are right for you. The first thing you need to take into consideration is the location. How close is it to your campus, your job, and other places that you need to go? When you get WKU housing or similar on-campus housing, you will be located close to the campus as well as many surrounding places. This makes walking very ideal.

If you start looking at dorm rooms, you will quickly find that you do not have any privacy. Everything in your room is open and you have to share it with at least one other person. This can be very inconvenient, especially if your roommate is noisy. It is important that you have your own private bedroom where you can study without any interruptions. There are apartments that have 4 private bedrooms with 2 bathrooms as well as a living room, kitchen, patio, and a laundry room. You can also have high-speed Internet and cable in every room. If you are moving in by yourself, you can get a free roommate match. This is where they will compare your interests and lifestyle to other people and will determine who will be the best roommates for you.

Going to college and living on campus is supposed to be one of the greatest times of your life. To have a great college experience, you need to live somewhere that offers many amenities. At a place like WKU housing, you will have a resort-style pool with a hot tub, many social activities, computer lounge, fully equipped fitness center, picnic and barbecue areas, sun terrace, and many more great luxuries. With many different activities, you will never have a dull moment and can enjoy your college years to their fullest.
