The Best Selfie Ever!

Ellen DeGeneres is a very active Twitter member and her tweets usually garner a substantial number of followers and retweets. She posted something today during the Oscars that might have pushed Twitter’s server to go bonkers – a celebrity-filled selfie!

The selfie has been retweeted 2.6M times already as per the time I grabbed the snapshot of Ms. Ellen's Twitter profile.  Twitter had to be down for a while to catch up on the influx of retweets coming from that singular selfie tweet from the famous Ellen.

Now, top that! Kudos to Ellen for hosting the Academy. I haven’t watched it yet because I was in the office but I’ll look forward to find a streaming of that telecast. I hope she did great!

Ellen DeGeneres off from Next Idol Judges Panel

I told myself that I would stop watching Americal Idol the moment Paula Abdul stepped out of the door. Unfortunately, I broke my promise but not regularly followed the season. I was still watching the show every now and then because of Ellen DeGeneres. She is just the funniest judge American Idol has ever had. She neutralizes tension amongst the other three judges.

Well, according to sources, she is leaving next season. Her decision was not an easy task but she had to come to the point where she needed to work her schedule out.

I will miss her on the next Idol season and the seasons to follow. I may just as well not watch. It's just not fun anymore.
