The Musical Talent

I remember being a choir member when I was young but I don't recall why I fell out of love with music. I think it's because I still cannot find my real voice or I am trying so hard to be in another voice level when I should belong to another.

So, this is one area in the field of Arts that I am not keen. I am not like my other friends who enjoy music a lot and can even sing beautifully and play the instruments. Take them to a music store or show them stuff like fender hot rod deluxe iii at musicians friend and they know exactly what they are and what they are used for.

I am certainly amazed by the musical talent that they have and silently wish that I should have stayed in the choir. Perhaps, in due time, I would have discovered who I really was in the music field.

Musical Talent

I am not one of those who are born musically gifted or talented. I learned how to play the piano while I was very young but stopped. So, my fingers are quite stiff now to do it all over again.

We have a guitar at home which has been gathering dust for sometime because my daughter didn't push through with her guitar lessons. I am a bit sad because I thought she would have that musical inclination I wanted to have.

It is a good thing that we didn't buy her the fancy ones like the Epi LP studio kind with matching speakers because if we had, then it would have been a waste of precious musical instrument.

I am still hoping she will come around.
