Blog Leave For A Few Days

Hi everyone!

I will be on blog leave from Feb. 11 until 22 due to my daughter's debut! Yey!

I will be busy with family stuff so I won't be posting much but I promise to keep up with the latest in deals and promos, health and wellness, business stuff and other topics you wish to talk about here.

For now, I'll just focus on my daughter's birthday party and the blogging activities will have to take a back seat momentarily.

I'll chat with you all on Feb. 23!

Happy Valentine's Day to all!

Going On Leave Soon

The first month of the year has proven to be a one to reckon with. My workload is so immense and testy. It is also extremely stressful and time constraint and most importantly, it has changed me to become a mini-monster in a span of 3 weeks.

My patience is wearing off and it's only January 2014! I desperately need to get away soon before I snap at someone again. One thing that peeves me is when my personality is getting affected by the stress. I don't like that because I AM NOT LIKE THAT - a big B! However, for some very unconscious reasons, people at work (and even at home) see the toxicity level of stress taking its toll on me.

That is why, I deserve a leave and I will go on one in few days. I have to get away from all the hassles, stress that I somehow drag into 2014, unknowingly and not my fault because all those stuff are never ending unless one has been accomplished.

Anyway, no time to rant and I don't want that. I should be happy. So, I'll be away for few days this February. There's won't be any activity in my blogs for several days so I can unwind and enjoy 2014 in a better perspective. I have to recharge and detox both personally and professionally. It's just too much negativity stemming from one task. And that is just ONE task. Imagine, if I have to do that singular task day in and day out, I'd probably go bonkers. Well, this is where vacation leaves come into play.

I'm On Vacation Leave

After many weeks of thorough planning, changing of minds, changing of bookings, rearrangement of itinerary, I can officially say I am on vacation leave!

It is not the long leave like I always have  but certainly a good break t have to get away from the craziness here. So, I won't be posting as regular as I have used to but will check in once in a while just to make sure I don't miss out on opps.

It's not a long leave. It's just a week-long vacation leave but it's a much needed vacation.

I'll chat with all of you on the 2nd week of December. Until then!

Blog Leave and Other Activities

My activities are starting to stabilize due to the fact that I tried to finish the manual project last week, just in time for my vacation leave this coming 27 March. I am not comfortable cramming but when circumstance calls for it; I am left with no choice but to cram everything up and pray I didn't goof somewhere.

Thankfully, the manual has been published and there's nothing much to do but to print it. Aside from the office work, my daughter's assessment in her new school this coming Grade 10 has wrapped up few minutes ago. I think I can start easing up a bit with the work load and personal activities. I need my me time very badly!

My health is getting better. I am taking it easy with stress and other strenuous activities so I don't go on relapse. The weather is still not very accommodating in New York so I have to really up the ante on my immune system before we fly to the US.

So, I am taking this much deserved and needed rest. It is only the first quarter of the year and my energy reserve is already kaput. I will be away for 3 weeks and will only get back to blogging maybe around the 20th of April. I may miss some opportunities but I don't mind. I think my health, well-being and my family's company is more important that other stuff that can wait.

Until next time. I'll be active again later in April 2013!

This Blogger Is On Blog Leave

Every blogger needs a break from the blog scene and I am taking my blog leave from October 25 to 31, 2012!

Last time I went on a blog leave was last July and even then, it was a short break too just like now but it was something my mind begged so I could recharge and enjoy my time with my daughter. This time it's the whole family.

We are visting some relatives again in New York and we just love that place! The weather is cool and inviting, there are lots of goodies on sale and the autumn foliage is starting to show its wonderful hues. Besides those wonderful stuff, I kind of miss Shake Shack and Century 21!

So, if I will comment and visit your blogs on Nov.

This Blogger is on Blog Leave

Yes! I will be on blog leave for a week starting tomorrow. It's not that long but long enough to miss the blogosphere and the internet all together. I will try my best to check mails and comments while I am enjoying my R & R and bonding moment with my daughter but cannot guarantee that 100%. This is the only time I can switch my phone off and actually enjoy the real meaning of a "vacation leave."

So, I'll be back on 11 July 2012 to do my regular posts and comments.

Gearing Up for a Short Vacation

It has been more than a year now since I last had a vacation back in the Philippines. I was trying to manage my finances in this difficult time. I avoided every opportunity presented in the past for a trip back home because every time I come home, money just disappear so fast. That was not something I was ready to accept. My budget is so tight right now that my short vacation to see my family is planned to the minute details. I cannot over-spend on unnecessary matters and cannot eat out. It will just a pure R and R with the people who matters in my life.

So, I will not be blog-hopping for few days starting 2 July. I just want to spend my time with my family and enjoy the vacation even for a short while.

Travel Plan Ahead

Is it New York, Houston, San Francisco or Los Angeles? The reason I am asking this is because I am an airline staff and my family get discounted airline tickets with the least priority in check-in. We will be on stand-by status unless the flight is really open which in our case is not. Our company's network go to the above cities and only JFK and IAH (J. F. Kennedy Airport in NYC and Bush International Apt. in Houston - travel lingo!) are open on our preferred day of travel. So, I have a funny feeling that we'll end up buying domestic US tickets to fly from JFK or IAH to LAX.

I have been preoccupied lately with our travel plans to the US this Friday. I cannot stop feeling giddy about it because I have always dreamed of going there ever since I can remember. Hubby and princess are equally excited as I am because we keep drawing the itinerary plans and incessantly add places to visit in the list (which I even doubt if time can really permit). I am very pleased that my hubby is cooperating in the planning of this US trip. He used to give the reins to me before but he is being proactive now and that is good!

So, I will be on a blog leave again for 2 weeks on April (1st week of April until 15 April) to enjoy our vacation and enjoy the scenery (and outlet malls! hahahaha!). I will post photos of the trip once I am back.

Tuh-tah for now!

On a "Wedding" Blog Leave

Well, it's not MY wedding but that of my sister-in-law, after many years of single-blessedness has decided to get hitched ;) So, my family and I will be off to Manila and I'll be very busy with the preparation.

I'll be back shortly and while I am away, please keep the party going! Yeah! Chat with all of you soon...

Gone for the Holidays

Let me greet everyone a Blessed Christmas and a Peaceful 2009! My family and I will be in Manila for the holidays but I will be back after Christmas here in Dubai. I cannot take a long leave now so I am cutting my vacation short (for financial reasons as well). I will not blog for a week to spend my time with my family so please bear with me. However, I will really appreciate your comments, greetings and well-wishings. I shall resume my normal blogging activity by last week of December or perhaps on January 2009.

I pray for the grace of our Lord to shine upon all of us on this blessed season. Let our Christmas be measured by the love of our families and friends, instead of the material things that commercializes this blessed time. Money may come scarce to some of us but we will all get through this through our faith. May 2009 be a year of new hope, new dreams, new goals and the spread of peace to all.

A Blessed Christmas and a Peaceful New Year to all of you.

A Trip in the Offing

We have this yearly tradition in the family to visit other countries and soak in their culture and bask in the wonderful sights. We have chosen Germany and Italy this year for our annual family trip. I'm glad to know that this time we have been granted multiple-entry for 3 months unlike the first time, we were just given 10 days entry. We may visit again in November when it's almost winter! Oh, we can't wait!

The first stop will be Munchen (or Munich as we commonly know). We will be staying there for 3 days only and then off to viva Italia!

Guten Tag Germany! Buon Giorno Italy!
