USANA's Proflavanol C For My Sinus

I have a chronic sinusitis. It has been like that for as long as I can remember. So, most days of the year, my sinus is blocked and I find it difficult to smell because my sinus is usually blocked and it's affecting my olfactory sense.

I am taking Vitamin C regularly. I feel that is not enough.  I still have blocked sinus. I tried using nose drops to unclog my sinus cavity and also prevent the pressure that builds up and causing my migraine most of the time.  This has been my cycle for many years. Unfortunately, I cannot take medication to relieve my sinusitis pain due to allergic reaction to most medications. I have to make do with whatever helps, albeit temporarily.

I want to get our of that cycle. I'm getting tired already. I want to drink something that will actually work and I have to do it quick because the season is changing. I don't want to keep blowing my nose to clear my nasal passages.

USANA's Proflavanol C is my answer.  I have been taking some of USANA's supplements but this is the first time I have taken Proflavanol C. I started drinking 1 tablet a day since January this year and I am pleasantly surprised with the results.  Seriously, I should have taken this before and I could have benefitted from the good results earlier.

Sinus-wise, I feel a lot better.  Why, you must ask? Here they are:

My sinus has cleared.
I can smell nicely now and not faintly unlike when my sinus was clogged.
No more painful face pressure and throbbing headaches due to sinusitis.

And here are the extras too!

My skin complexion is more pinkish than ever. I don't need any blush on, because it is a good source of anti-oxidants so it helps renew cells in the body.
I have better immune system. The season has started to change and I usually get seasonal flu this time of the year but I am ok. No coughing. No drippy nose and watery eyes.

Proflavanol C has good effects in your over all health.

Sudafed Replay Contest For Sinusitis Sufferers

My mom told me that I got sick quite easily because I was a frail baby with sensitive immune system. I was in and out of hospitals because of that. Amazingly, I have learned to help improve my system by exercising and eating healthy foods. However, some things really don't change and go.

I have been plagued with sinusitis for as long as I can remember. It went to a very long hiatus that I thought I got cured already. And then one day, bam! I am suffering from sinusitis again. It became very prevalent around 2010 and I am still bothered by it upto now.

Having sinusitis is not a pleasant feeling. You feel like there is a pipe full of pressure that is about to explode in your nasal cavity. It gives me headaches, pain and the breathing is quite a challenge! It has caused me to miss a lot of activities where I could have enjoyed like hiking, trekking and even traveling. I have tried plenty of medications before. I have been in the doctors office one too many times and I have been prescribed anti-biotics to help me deal with the sinusitis problem because at one point, I kept having bleeding nose.

For once, I just want to be cured. It is an on and off thing and I hope  SUDAFED® can give me the relief I have been looking for.

SUDAFED® is hosting a fun giveaway/sweepstakes to sinus sufferers like myself! You will have a chance to win SUDAFED REPLAY™ to help them relive their regrettable and those missed out moments in their lives.

All you have to do describe those moments you have missed in the SUDAFED REPLAY™  app in the SUDAFED® Facebook page and you will be entered to win a $250 gift card for Flight replay, Sporting Event replay or Movie Event replay.

The contest will run until 6th of April, 2014. Open to US residents only +18.

Bed Rest

I am on a 3-day bed rest while I recuperate from acute sinusitis and hypertension. I went to the doctor (finally!) yesterday because I couldn't stand the pressure on my nasal cavity and I was feeling feverish already. That could only mean one thing, I needed my antibiotics whether I liked it or not.

I waited for 45 minutes before being called in the doctor's office. Both myself and the doctor were surprised to see my blood pressure to read as 143/100. That was way too high.

So, I am back to my antibiotics, anti-allergy and hypertension meds again. I also have to wait for the result of my blood test for everything that could possibly causing my hypertension and inability to lose weight inspite of the exercise regimen and low-sodium diet.

Am I going through menopause?!? I am praying that my renal test is also okay. I drink a lot of water and certainly not a salty food junkie but I'm really scared.

Sinusitis

Sleeping with a blocked nasal passage is like a fish out of water. I find it hard to breathe and I have been having this sinusitis again lately.

I haven't seen the doctor yet because I don't like taking medications. The last time I had this chronic sinusitis was 3 years ago and I was given mega-doses of anti-biotic which cured it but altered my taste buds for several months. I don't want to go through that again.

It's hard to have sinusitis. I feel like there's a small saucer right in front of me all the time. Visually, it does not change anything but that pressure and feeling like there is a lump on the nose bridge makes it really a bit painful and cumbersome especially during sleeping time.

My sinusitis has not given me any relief yet so I am really hoping for all hopes that weekend is much longer than two days so I can just relax and catch up on my sleep while I feel awful.
