Hot Sauce Life Span

I don't like spicy stuff nor enjoy sprinkling my food with hot sauce. However, there are a lot of people who love this condiment and can stand the hot and spicy food like my brother. So, for hot sauce lovers out there, a bottle of hot sauce can last 3 years in the pantry. Well of course, you have to note their expiration dates printed on the labels. But if you want to stack up on those favorite hot and spicy sauces in the market, be my guest. Just remember to use them up before their expiration.

The June Bug

It's that time of the year where most ladies out there prefer to get married on - June! I am really baffled why June is the most popular month for couples to marry. I mean, there is January, February, March and so on. But why June? Well, here's the scoop:

June is chosen as the month for marrying by ladies as early as the Victorian era. The month June is named after the Roman goddess of marriage - Juno. Juno is known to bring prosperity and happiness to all who marry in her month. June is also a great month in terms of weather. It is not as hot as the coming months and not cold enough. It comes after the Lent and the arrival of summer.

Did you know that the aural sense is the first to develop in the womb? I read somewhere that when you play music or listen to music while you are pregnant contributes to the intellectual development of the unborn.

Music is a tranquilizer to relieve ourselves from the noise around us. So it is very important to chose the kind of music you play in order to relax your body and mind. Classical and nature sound are normally good in setting our moods to a more laid-back and calm stage.

Wednesday Anime - the initial write up

I am an anime lover. Well, not exactly that avid where I can tell who is who. I love Japanese cartoons especially the old ones like Candy-Candy, Voltes 5, and others which titles I have forgotten already. I grew up watching these old Japanese anime and up to know, I still remember most parts. As a tribute to my growing fondness on Japanese animation, I will be featuring anime trivia every Wednesday. So, if you have any anime characters in mind who you would like to be featured or would like to know more about them, do let me know so I can scour my treasure box of Japanese anime ;) A word of caution though, I will not be featuring animes that I deem not worth featuring. Anime lovers out there will know what I mean.
