** I received this product for free in exchange of my unbiased review. My feedback is 100% mine and may vary from yours.
The Easy@Home Areta Pulse Oximeter lives up to its name - Easy@Home because it is easy to use. However, for those who are new to this type of gadget, you may wonder what oximeter is and its uses. Here's the rundown on what an oximeter is and its uses.
An oximeter is an instrument used to check the levels of oxygen in the haemoglobin. It is used to gauge the oxygen level for those with Coronary Heart Failure, asthma, lung diseases like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
It is a commonly used instrument in the hospitals and can now be used even at home especially for those who requires to monitor their oxygen levels.
What I like:
It is really easy to use. I had to read the manual just to have a better understanding of how it works and what the values represent when my pulse is taken.
It is small and lightweight that I can carry it with me if I need to check my oxygen level. I have asthma and this can come very handy especially on my travels.
The orientation of the small monitor screen display can go from portrait to landscape just by pushing the main "gray" button. Settings are also adjusted using the same button just by pressing it in various intervals.
The display is clear and bright which displays the numbers in big and bright light blue colour. So, you can take the reading even if the lights are off or in a dim room.
The instrument takes measurements in less than few seconds. I placed my index finger and few seconds after, it has already taken the measurement and displayed my reading in less than 30 seconds.
It comes with free lanyard, protective case, 2 AAA batteries and a manual.
It's not very bulky.
It has smooth padding where you put your finger for reading. It doesn't hurt a bit.
What I don't like:
Nothing.
Where to buy:
The Easy@Home Areta Pulse Oximeter is available in Amazon.
My recommendation:
I highly recommend this gadget especially to those who needs to check their oxygen levels regularly. It is easy to use and very compact so you can take it with you wherever you go.
