PUR Tablet Stand Review

I bought this product with a huge discount in exchange of my honest feedback.

I am surprised with the design and smooth movement of this PUR tablet stand with clamp. For starters, my mini iPad already has a case that is tight and I couldn't remove anymore. But placing my mini iPad even with the case on was never an issue as the PUR tablet stand holder securely held my gadget in place. The holder ha a silicone guard that won't scratch your gadget and will hold it firmly on place even when you tinker like I did with my iPad. I was playing farming games while my mini iPad was on the PUR tablet stand and it didn't move much.

The stand can handle many types of gadgets. My mini iPad and iPhone 6 fits just right. It can also fit other smartphones and tablets like Samsung, Kindle, and other gadgets between 6"-11" diameter screen.

It has two types of clamp to fasten it securely on your table or anywhere you want to clip it. I have the clamp type. The other one comes with suction cup base if you prefer to buy that. The clamp base was fastened tightly on the side of my study desk. It has a knob at the top of the clamp to tighten or loosen.

It can swivel to 360 degrees. The gadget holder can tilt while the arm of the stand can be retracted or pushed back near the body.

It is easy to operate and charges quite fast. It is similar to smart phones too because it has a touch-screen functionality. You either swipe to the left or right when you want to choose some app or up and down when selecting from the menu.

Battery life when bluetooth is off lasts for several days. And the good thing about this product is that, even if it's not connected to the bluetooth, you can just use it as a stylish watch.

Charging is easy too. You can plug it to your PC or any charging dock with USB port.

The other features of the smart watch are great. Once it is connected via bluetooth to your smart phone (after downloading an app) whether it is iOS or Android, you can answer call through the phone. You can also access your phone's contacts through the watch.

It is great for walking as it has pedometer, and e-compass and stopwatch.


Much as it has provided functions that my husband can enjoy, there are a few that I certainly didn't like about the product. Namely:

1. The battery is not replaceable. So that means, when the battery's power has been fully utilized over the years, then you have to dispose the entire watch.

2. I cannot find the volume setting to lower the volume of the ring tone. I searched the settings but cannot find it there nor in the other functions.

3. Sometimes, the touch screen hangs.

4. It is a bit of a challenge to connect it to my phone's bluetooth. It does connect but then disconnects after few seconds. So, I have to reconnect again.



My recommendation:

This Smart Watch is what my budget can afford. I like how it looks even if it is a bit bulky than the expensive smart watches out there. It has its pros and cons. The lagging connectivity, touch screen issue and lack of volume setting turn me off.  I prefer to buy the pricier ones. However, if this is what your budget can afford and will make-do with the other functionality, then it is an ok watch.

Review - Valentia Royal Rose Hydrating Serum

This is the second Valentia product I have tried and in both cases, I love to use. The first one was the Valentia Organic Rosehip Oil which I utilized last year.

Now, I have the opportunity to test the Valentia Royal Rose Hydrating Serum and I am glad I tried it. I usually get dry skin around my eyebrows area and patches on my cheeks especially when the season is changing. I tend to get very dry and scaly skin around my eyebrows that I sometimes use emolient lotion to stop the itching. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. So the first patch of skin I applied this Valentia Royal Rose Hydrating Serum was around those eyebrow skin areas.

I have been using this product for more than a week now. I have noticed the less scaly and dry patch on my cheeks. The skin around my eyebrows are not as dry and itchy. I apply this twice a day, once in the morning and then at night before bedtime.

The Valentia Royal Rose Hydrating Serum is perfect for those with dry and sensitive skin because it hydrates and soothes the skin. I noticed that when I applied it on my face and neck, I felt a faint cool effect on my skin. And amazingly, even if it contains Rosehip Seed oil, it does not leave oily residue on my skin.

- Rose Damascena: One of the most nourishing and skin friendly natural oils, providing balance, moisture, and a variety of vitamins and minerals to the skin.

The instruction indicates to follow with a moisturizer after application. I don't use moisturizer after applying this serum on my skin. And I don't see any ill effects. In fact, my skin is more supple, smooth and not as dry as before.

The only critique I have about this product is that it smells like a very faint rose. And I don't like my beauty or facial skin care products to have floral scent. I prefer unscented ones. But the scent does not really have an impact on the effectivity of this serum. All in all, I will definitely buy this again.

Review - Liquid Savvy Double Wall Steel Water Bottle 32 oz

I have bought this product with a huge discount in exchange of my honest review.

I am a coffee and tea drinker, day in and out. I am really tired going back and forth to our office pantry to heat water in the percolator. So, I bought this product and a bit hesitant at first because it is not the flask I am looking for. I want a thermos but I don't like the hefty price tag of the high quality thermos here. However, I tested this Liquid Savvy 32 oz stainless steel insulated water bottle for my hot water and I am not disappointed at all.

I poured boiling water in my Liquid Savvy at 07:00 and made coffee at 2:00 p.m.! I still managed to make a decent "hot" coffee. Then, the remaining hot water, was poured to my tea around 6:00 p.m! I still made a nice hot tea, although not as hot as the temperature in the morning but hot enough to still drink a "hot beverage" without burning your lips and tongue.

I like that this water bottle is also wide mouth, that way I can pour ice cubes in it. I am not a big fan of drinking cold stuff so I haven't tested this product yet for cold beverages.

I like the twist cap and it is my favourite to use. I prefer sealing my Liquid Savvy bottle tight to lock in the heat. Amazingly too, even when I poured super hot water inside, the outside case is not affected with the heat. I can still hold it on the side. The bottle is also powdery coated matte texture. it doesn't leave rings on my desk or glass.

The plastic lids does not alter the taste of the water. and there are 3 included in the bottle, one twist cap, one sippy style which is perfect for drinking coffee and one with a carabiner. My favourite is the twist one. All three caps have a silicone ring inside to lock in the heat and coldness of the beverage or water inside.

This is a BPA free bottle so it won't leach any chemicals to your drink.

My only negative comment will be is the wide dimension that I have to carry it around because it won't fit in my lunch tote bag. But that is not really a huge problem. I hope they can sell other accessories like a cross-body strap handle that can be attached to the bottle.

If there was hair fall, it was very few compared to my hair fall before I used this shampoo. I would say, the shampoo is working in terms of strengthening my hair follicles. I chose the Cayenne and Saw Palmetto scent which has a nice, minty scent. I can smell my hair all day with fresh minty scent. When shampooing with this product, I can feel a very slight coolness or tingly sensation on my scalp too. I feel like the scalp is very fresh and fragrant.

The shampoo does not bubble much as is the case with sulfate-free shampoos which is good. I just noticed that my hair smells so good, my scalp feels very clean, and my hair is more voluminous.

The shampoo contains fatty acids, omega-3 oils and vitamins to make the hair follicles healthy and strong. It also contains organic ingredients derived from components from saw palmetto oil, capsaicin from cayenne and chili pepper oil.

This is the only boots I have that has wooden soles and heels as the base. The wood is European Lime Wood. Rubber soles are used for the soles to provide anti-slip feature. The whole body is made of Nubuck leather in black. The leather is fastened to the wooden sole with metal fasteners and has zippers on each side and metallic buckle to tighten or loosen the boots opening.
