Arvazallia Ultra Curl Defining Cream with Argan Oil Review #ultracurlcream

** I have received this product for free for testing purposes. My feedback is 100% mine and may vary from yours. Regardless, I only review products that I will use and find beneficial to my readers.

I wasn't actually born with a curly hair but it began curling when I reached my puberty. My once straight hair decided to go berserk with curls so I am now a curly-haired girl.

It is not very easy to maintain a wavy or curly hair contrary to what most people think. Those with curly or wavy hair will agree with me that our top can become very unruly when humidity is high. It gets very bushy like I just got electrocuted. So, the weather is really not my best friend because it can be very cruel to my hair when it's summer.

I received the Arvazallia Ultra Curl Defining Cream with Argan oil and I tried it for a week. And I will continue to use it because of the nice effect it has on my curly hair.

What I Like:
I like the faint scent. It's not very floral but more with citrus notes.
It is not greasy to the feel and does not leave my hair oily.
It is lightweight and does not make my hair limp.
It controls my curly hair without making my locks like they were professionally curled at the parlour.
It prevents frizz.
It makes my hair smooth and shiny.
My hair more manageable.
It has Argan oil which nourishes and moisturises my hair.
The container has a nozzle for easy application.
It is sulfate and paraben free which are both harmful chemicals.

What I Don't Like:
Nothing

Where to buy:
This product is available at Amazon.

My recommendation:
Yes, I highly recommend this product. Thanks to Arvazallia's Ultra Curl Defining Cream with Argan Oil because I don't have to buy those expensive anti-frizz serum which leaves my hair a bit oily and flat. With this Ultra Curl Defining Cream with Argan Oil, my hair is tamed while being curly and manageable.

NeoCell Biotin Bursts Gourmet Biotin Soft Chews Review

** I received this product for free in exchange of my unbiased review. My findings are 100% mins and may vary from yours.

I have dry hair and my skin tends to get dry and scaly. I am not taking any supplements to improve the condition of my hair and skin, just the normal Vitamin C to improve my immune system. So, when I received this NeoCell Biotin Bursts Gourmet Biotin Soft Chews, I did not hesitate and tried it.

I wanted my hair  and skin to improve and trying this product has given me the opportunity to see results. Lately, I have been having small breakouts and I do not like the feel of my skin. So, fortifying my own skin, hair and even nails with NeoCell Biotin Bursts was a good decision.

What is Biotin?

Biotin is a a vital part of the Vitamin B family. It helps in making our skin and hair healthy. And it also provides energy support by aiding metabolism of proteins in the body, thus, creating natural energy.

NeoCell Biotin Bursts Gourmet Biotin Soft Chews has added Acai Berry which is known for it high antioxidant agents protecting our body from free radicals.

What I like:

It tastes so good. It's not too sweet as it is low in sugar.
I like the Brazilian Acai Flavour.
It contains 10,000 MCG Biotin per chew and it is enough to give our body the required Vitamin B Biotin to help improve our nails, hair and skin's health.
It has no gluten, no soy and no palm oil.
My nails' texture has improved. I used to have brittle nails and some have light indentations but after eating this delectable chews for more than a week now, I have seen improvement.
My skin tone has also improved. It does not look so dull unlike the previous weeks.

What I don't like:

Nothing. I find this a good chewable snack to supplement my requirement for Biotin. However, I have to give it more time to see results on my hair's overall health.

Packaging:

1 pack contains 30 soft chews, packed in a resealable foil to keep the chew fresh and chewy.

Supplement Facts:

My recommendation:

I highly recommend this product. Not only does it tastes so good, not too sweet but easy to chew, I can see results on my skin and nails. As for my hair's health, I have to give it some time to see further results. For now, what's so evident is my nail and skin's health and the improvement.

Taming Your Wild Hair

I don't know why my fair has a mind of its own but it does. I can't remember the time I left it untied because it looks like I got electrocuted or something. Not cool! Sometimes, I am very tempted to get those pretty locks like the raquel welch wigs. Those locks are full, has the right bouncy curls and does not look like you're always walking on a rug and attracting all those static ions.

So, how do I tame these wild beast of tresses?

1. Use Anti-frizz serum.  I apply the serum while my hair is damp because when it dries, it gives than shiny natural look.

2. I do not use hot setting in my blow dryer. I use only the first setting or the colder one.

3. I don't brush as often. I only fix my hair once during the whole day. I tried brushing my hair midday and it became poofy.

4. I use hair clips and clip my hair on the side if I'm not wearing it on a bun.

Do you have wild hair? How do you tame yours?

It's Movember Month!

Yes, we get to wear fake moustache today as we show our support to Movember month. Last month was for Breast Cancer Awareness which afflicts millions of women. The Breast Cancer Awareness month of October focused on social awareness about the affliction, what it does to the afflicted and find ways to propel the cure to eradicate this deadly cancer.

Movember will be the focus this month of November. What is Movember?

Movember is the combination of the short form of moustache and November - mo + vember = Movember.

It is month-long event held every November where men (and women who supports their husbands and other male family members) show their support to the growing concerns on male ailments that takes lives of millions each year and one of these malignant ailments is prostate cancer.

For the whole month, men who supports the movement will grow their moustaches. They will register at www.movember.com to show their participation and support. They in turn, will take care of their mos for the whole month and will request support from their families and friends (and even thru their social media networks) to donate to the cause, raising funds to generate help propel the cure for male maladies.

So, if you want to support this movement by growing your cool moustache, go and register at www.movember.com and be a part of this global cause.

Skin Care Tips We Can Instil In Our Daughters At A Young Age

With many of us on the quest for eternal beauty, facelifts and other age-defying procedures are becoming increasingly popular. Surgery can certainly help to turn back the clock, but there are other things the younger generation can do before it gets to that stage.

Here are five simple skincare tips we can instil in our daughters:

Apply sun cream

People who spend a long time in the sun are often thought to have a leathery, withered complexion. As up to 80 per cent of lasting sun damage is thought to occur before the age of 18, it’s important to cover your kids in sun cream and protect them during the hottest part of the day. This will prevent them from burning and ensure their skin stays youthful for as long as possible.

Rock the natural look

It’s normal for girls to dabble with makeup, but try to convince them to go au naturel as often as possible. Many cosmetics contain a wealth of chemicals that can disturb the natural PH of the skin, so it’s worth looking for organic products or avoiding them altogether. If she does want to wear makeup daily, advise her to remove it before she goes to sleep to let her skin breathe.

Moisturise frequently

Moisturising on a regular basis can help keep the skin soft, smooth and supple. It can also stimulate circulation and result in a healthy, vibrant glow, so encourage your daughter to apply cream regularly. There are a wide range of products on the market at present, so it’s worth speaking to a doctor or dermatologist to find the right one –particularly if she has any allergies.

Exfoliate

There’s no need to scrub delicate skin too hard, but a gentle exfoliation once a week can help combat spots and acne. A natural abrasive such as salt or sugar will help remove dead skin cells, or you could buy a sweet-smelling product from your nearest beauty store. Get your daughter to apply the product in small concentric circles from her feet upwards and she’ll be on to a winner.

Be careful with hair removal

Hair removal is a big part of a young girl’s life, particularly as she reaches puberty. To save her from getting cuts from razors and tearing her skin while waxing give her as much advice as possible (you’ve probably made all the mistakes in the book) and steer her towards the best products. Simply doing this slowly and not rushing the process can make a big difference, so try to give advice without molly coddling her too much – she’ll soon learn.

There are many skin care tips you can give you daughter, but these are some of the best.

Save My Hair

I have been losing my hair since I move here in Dubai. Although it grows back but I used to have a nice crowning glory.

I think the water here does not suit my scalp well. I remember not having itchy and dry scalp while vacationing in the US and Europe. However, the moment I got back in my routine here in the Middle East, my scalp and hair loss problem came back. What could be the best hair loss treatment for me and where? Treatments here are very expensive.
