High-End Headphone for Christmas

Yes, it's only September but I am one of those people who start their Christmas list as early as the "Ber" month enters. That is me! And nothing's wrong with that.

I am thinking of gift items to list down for family and friends this time. It's not as lavish as the previous Christmases we had since mum's no longer here with us to celebrate the joyous and blessed occasion. Knowing my mum, she loved the holidays so I am sure she would love for us to celebrate Christmas to honour her memory of showering all of us with her love... and gifts.

I am eyeing some stuff for particular people in my life, especially my daughter. She's into collecting headphones so this one is so perfect for her. It's a v-moda m-100 noise isolating headphone so she will love this a lot!

I think my husband, who loves listening to music, will fancy one too!

Review - Bedphones On-Ear Sleep Headphones #Bedphones

There are times when there is a need to listen to my fave music or relaxing sounds to soothe my nerves and calm me down after a stressful day. However, the headphones that I use are the ones where you put inside your earlobes and the keep popping out. I found the perfect solution to that issue and I am happy to try this Bedphones On-Ear Sleep Headphones for many reasons:

  • It is lightweight.
  • It comes with a case and extra foam overs for the earphones.
  • It comes with a free satin eyemask which is a perfect combination esp. when you want to achieve a good sleep, even when traveling.
  • It has rubber molding at the end of the wire before the cable starts. The rubber molding acts as a strain remover so it doesn't hit the back of your ear.
  • It has a flexible wiring connected to the earphone so it can conform with the shape of your ears.
  • The earphones are flat! I like the fact that I don't have to stick them inside my earlobes. They just lay flat on my ears and I can sleep even on my sides.
  • The cable is long enough that you can put them behind your head/neck for less obstruction.
  • It has inline mic and remote you can use in a click to pick up a call from your device, pause or resume the music or even jump to the next track.
  • It has standard 3.5mm jack that is compatible with most devices, even iPad and iPad Touch.

Yes, this is the first time I ever owned a headset that I really like and doesn't hurt my earlobes. I am glad it is convenient to carry as well because I can use it during my travels.

The Best Headphone Ever!

I love my daughter's very hip and funky headphone - Beats by Dr. Dre. It was a gift from our relative to her for Christmas and the headphone has become a part of her anatomy already. I barely see her remove it from her head. I fear that one day, it will actually embed itself on my daughter's head.

I wondered what the fuss was about on that chunky headphone they call Beats until I tried it. It has noise cancellation which is super great because I can enjoy my music without hearing unnecessary noise in my surroundings.

I have tried other headphones in the past. I tried the slim types, the in-ear ones and even wireless ones but I think that Beats is surely one of the best headphones available. It may be a bit costly but the performance is worth the money.

Headphones Abound

Our house is full of gadgets and trinkets and headphones - not just two but almost a dozen!

You can find two or three in my study drawer, two hanging on my daughter's knick-knack rack, two in my hubby's luggage, one in my bag (for my iPod) and two in the living room when they feel like listening to some head-banging music.

We just have plenty of them so where ever you turn or look at, you will certainly see one in plain sight. I like it that way. At least, we don't fight or wait for our turn to use the headphone. Not only that, we all have our varying tastes in music. I love soft and light, my daughter is into Japanese, my brother is into heavy Japanese music, and my husband is into pop.

So, it is just right to have enough headphones to go around. I know, people ask, "Does 8 pairs of ears require a lot of headphones?" My answer is YES.
