I love playing music during my off days to unwind. I love listening to various genre of music but I hate playing them on my Macbook. I just feel that the speaker of my laptop does not do much justice on the beautiful music that I am playing. So, I tried the Kitsound Cadet Wireless Bluetooth Portable Speaker from MobileFun.com to amplify the crispness of the songs I am playing.

What I like:

• Compact size that makes it easily portable
• Bluetooth connection that is universal. You can connect to any device as long as it has Bluetooth.
• For a small size, the sound it makes is perfect for outdoor usage as well. It is loud enough to be used outdoors. And while you play your music in the highest volume, the sound coming from the Kitsound Cadet Wireless Bluetooth Portable Speaker is still crisp and does not sound "clangy" or metallic when played on the highest volume.
• The controls are on top of the speaker.
• The design is simple. I like uncomplicated stuff.
• It is easily chargeable using the USB port plug that came with the bluetooth speaker.
• It has a metal casing that is coated with rubber, making it more durable and can withstand the outdoor elements.
• Sound quality is really superior! I like how it has good bass without sounding like it would give someone a heart attack.
• It comes with a carabiner so you can clip it on your bag strap or belt making it easily transportable.
• It has a micro SD slot so you don't actually need a phone to play your favourite tunes. It can play straight from the micro SD.
• It has a universal compatibility with most devices and operating systems like iOS and Android for smartphones.
• In case it does not connect with with a certain device or gadget, it comes with a jack that can be connected to the incompatible unit.
• Another great feature is that, it can be used as a hands-free calling unit when you receive a call while it is connected to your phone. It has a small microphone that serves as a hands-free speaker which you can use even on conference calls.
• The  battery life lasts approximately 5-6 hours. I used it to watch 3 full length movies at home and it was still working just fine.

What I don't like:

The only thing that I did not like much is that it took a while for my Mac to discover the bluetooth unit before my laptop connected. I made sure that both the laptop and speaker's bluetooth were switched on. I have tried several times to connect both my laptop and the unit and were not successful. Then I restarted my laptop and tried another time to connect the bluetooth speaker. It finally connected.

Once connected, it was easily discoverable each time I switch my laptop's and speaker's bluetooth on.


My recommendation:

The Kitsound Cadet Wireless Bluetooth Portable Speaker is a small, round bluetooth speaker that you can carry around.  It weighs approximately 0.20 kg so it's not very heavy. It's small enough to fit the pocket of your backpack or bag. You can even hang it as it comes with a carabiner.

Xnspy being a comprehensive target device monitoring software has a long list of great and useful features, some of which we will list and discuss below. Before we go on to the features let us mention some things regarding installation. When you purchase Xnspy you are sent an email with your login credentials, an activation code, and an installation guide. For installing on Android devices, regardless of root status, you will require physical access to the device once only. Once you have installed the app, it goes into stealth mode and that is it, you will be able to monitor the device remotely through the online web-based dashboard. The same process is required for jailbreak iOS devices, but for no-jailbreak devices you do not need physical access to the device and just require the iCloud credentials for installation.

Coming back to the features, as mentioned earlier xnspy has many functionalities but we will focus on the main ones.

Calls:

The app user will be able to see all call records with details such as contact name, number, date and time, and duration. Call recordings are available as well along with the location the call was made from or received at.

Messages:

All messages regardless of the channel used can be monitored. SMS, IM chats, and Emails all can be viewed and read from the convenience of the online control panel. IM chats such as WhatsApp, Skype, Viber, etc are some of the IM chats whose messages can be read.

Location Tracking and Geo-fencing:

This app would not be considered a Target Device Monitoring Software if it did not have location tracking. With this feature, you can know where the device is currently and where it has been. A geo-fencing feature allows you to set up alerts so that whenever the target device enters or leaves a pre-defined area the software will send you an email alert.

Internet Activity and Calendar Schedules:

The app user can monitor browsing history and any saved bookmarks and can also view calendar entries and any meeting schedules that have been posted on it.

Watchlists and Alerts:

Watchlists for specific words and contacts can be set up as well. This gives the app user a certain amount of freedom, instead of viewing and reading all messages, they can mark certain words that when used in messages send an alert to the app user and he can read them. The same way if a certain watchlisted contact communicates with the user of the target device, xnspy sends an alert to the app user.

There are two packages offered, one is the Basic Edition the other is the Premium Edition, this allows the customers to choose according to the functionality they require. The customers will not have to pay extra for features they do not need. The price itself is relatively cheap as compared to other apps with similar features. Remarks and Conclusion:

Xnspy is a pretty serious and feature-rich spy app that is a definite must for someone searching for target device monitoring software. The competitive price and the multiple packages and payment plans make this a bargain monitoring app. The app also has another great feature that you can control multiple devices using the same online dashboard but as mentioned earlier you need to purchase a separate license for use on each device and there is no bulk package as such.  Overall, given its numerous features, ease of use, and stealth functionality this is a definite app to have.

I have been meaning to buy my hubby an Apple watch but it is not within my budget. It is easy to operate and charges quite fast. It is similar to smart phones too because it has a touch-screen functionality. You either swipe to the left or right when you want to choose some app or up and down when selecting from the menu.

Battery life when bluetooth is off lasts for several days. And the good thing about this product is that, even if it's not connected to the bluetooth, you can just use it as a stylish watch.

Charging is easy too. You can plug it to your PC or any charging dock with USB port.

The other features of the smart watch are great. Once it is connected via bluetooth to your smart phone (after downloading an app) whether it is iOS or Android, you can answer call through the phone. You can also access your phone's contacts through the watch.

It is great for walking as it has pedometer, and e-compass and stopwatch.


Much as it has provided functions that my husband can enjoy, there are a few that I certainly didn't like about the product. Namely:

1. The battery is not replaceable. So that means, when the battery's power has been fully utilized over the years, then you have to dispose the entire watch.

2. I cannot find the volume setting to lower the volume of the ring tone. I searched the settings but cannot find it there nor in the other functions.

3. Sometimes, the touch screen hangs.

4. It is a bit of a challenge to connect it to my phone's bluetooth. It does connect but then disconnects after few seconds. So, I have to reconnect again.



My recommendation:

This Smart Watch is what my budget can afford. I like how it looks even if it is a bit bulky than the expensive smart watches out there. It has its pros and cons. The lagging connectivity, touch screen issue and lack of volume setting turn me off.  I prefer to buy the pricier ones. However, if this is what your budget can afford and will make-do with the other functionality, then it is an ok watch.

This is the first bamboo wood charging dock I have bought even if I don't own an Apple watch. I wanted to try out this product because I have my gadgets all over the place and looking for them is such a challenging tasks. Aside from that, my husband and daughter also have their own gadgets so our stuff gets mixed up. Having this bamboo wood charging dock has saved me my sanity, freed up some nice space and have actually made my table-top more organised.

The bamboo dock has 3 cradle brackets to hold a mini iPad and other smartphones or small tablets. It has a separate Apple watch dock as well that is removable and can be attached with magnets on the bottom part. There is a slot to pass the charging cable to your Apple watch on the side of the dock but since I don't have any Apple watch, I just hang my wood watch as props. :)

I like the smoothness of the bamboo charging dock. It does not look rough nor too polished but it does not have any jagged edges that can cut or hurt you. It is all smooth all over. It also comes with four padded adhesives that you stick on the bottom so it does not scratch your table or counter top.

It also has 3 pen holders. If you have a thicker stylus that looks like a pen then it's also good for that. Also, the cradle brackets for the iPad and other phones won't scratch the screen of your gadgets because the brackets have been installed with foam padding.

I find this bamboo wood charging dock a good purchase and it will make for a nice holiday gift!

Review - Toucoul Coulvue Holder for Mini iPad

I only use a normal cover to avoid scratches for my mini iPad. It is justifiable to have something that can protect my gadget from slipping because my iPad has slipped from my hands a couple of times already. Thank goodness, it did not land on the floor on those occasions. But what if it fell smack on the floor? This is the reason why I tried this product because I have butter fingers and I can't afford to drop my mini iPad on hard surfaces when it slips.

The Toucoul Coulvue holder is a snap holder that keeps my mini iPad safe on my very own hands. It has a magnetic, removable non-slip handle that can be removed if you need to put your iPad in your bag or want to store it. You can snap the handle back when you want to hold it snugly without the chances of dropping it by mistake. Why is that? You actually slip your hand/palm inside the handle as if you are holding a book but the Toucoul Coulvue holder is sleeker because it is not very tight nor too loose that you'll accidentally let your iPad slip. The holder base itself is a clear base that is snapped on four corners of the gadget. It is very snug. If there's one thing I have to comment about this product is that. The base is very tight. It is both an advantage and disadvantage. It is an advantage because you know for a fact that your gadget will never slip from the base. It is a disadvantage because it is a bit hard to take off from the iPad. I had to carefully pry the base from the sides without damaging the sides of my gadget and the protective film of my gadget. But I would take it as an advantage given my tendency to drop things. At least, I am very assured that the base fits my iPad and that my gadget will not get loose by chance.

Another good thing about this product is that, the smart cover still fits okay even when the base is attached. So now, I have double protection for my mini iPad.

I will definitely recommend this product for the reason that it protects my iPad and prevents me from slipping the gadget by mistake or letting it fall. It also helps when I need to hold the iPad for sometime because the handle can be used as a stand if you want to put the iPad on your table to watch or read. It is a very versatile holder and protective cover at the same time.

This is another model of the Coosh Upper Arm Digital Blood Pressure monitor that I have received to review/evaluate.  The other one was the simpler model but this one has more memory capacity (90) versus the simpler model which only has 30 memory capacity. The monitor of this Coosh Upper Arm Digital Blood Pressure monitor has a backlight whereas the simpler Coosh monitor does not have.

Between the two, this monitor rates better because it is easy to use, lightweight, has big display for the reading/measurements and has its own carry case. The simple model does not have a case.

It takes measurement fast too and in less than 2 minutes, you are done with your reading. You have to use 4 AA batteries for this monitor to work.

It also has the WHO indicator near the display so you can gauge where your blood pressure reading falls. I like this product and will continue to use because of its easy functions and features.

I recommend this blood pressure monitor and I think it is beneficial to those who need to monitor their blood pressure for health reasons like myself.

Review - Tens Handheld Electronic Pulse Massager #TensUnit

Sitting the whole day in front of the computer is part of my day-to-day routine at work. I always end up with a back pain with my prolonged sitting and to alleviate the pain, I sometimes use hot compress or put pillows to support my lower back. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't so I am looking for something that will give good benefits in the long run without me running to my closet drawer for my hot compress bag or buying dozens on liniment pads just to comfort my back.

Thanks to Tens Handheld Electronic Pulse Massager because it worked for me. I tried it  couple of times to test the various settings, pulses and massing effect and I must say, I am so surprised on how effective this small gadget is.


What I like:

• Small and portable and lightweight. It weighs only approx.5  oz. It is just the size of one of our TV remote control.
• It is easy to operate with big LCD screen to indicate the settings and buttons for the type of massage or pulse needed for the session.
• It has 6 stimulation programmes to choose from depending on your requirement.
• Separate speed and intensity setting to choose from.The unit can be set to 10 various degrees of intensities.
• Has 4 electrode pads which have self-adhesive gels that can be used on the various affected muscles/joint areas of the body.
• It can be used on your arms, feet, legs, lower back, neck area, hands, and wrists.
• It is really effective.
• It is portable and can be used anywhere and you can use it for your travels too.

What I don't like:

• The self-adhesive gels on each electrodes will not last for a long time but if you wash your skin properly and stick the electrodes on a lotion/perspiration-free skin area then it may. But you will still have to eventually buy an adhesive gel in the long run to reinforce the gel's stickiness.

• You have to really make sure you don't crank up the settings in the highest or high levels because I tried it on my wrist just to see the effects of each level of intensity. The higher intensity made my wrist and fingers moved involuntarily and as if they were spastic (imagine a child doing close/open with his/her hand non-stop. That happened on the highest intensity level). Just use the intended intensity level that you can bear and no more than that.

• You have to use batteries to operate the Tens Handheld Electronic Pulse Massager. I would suggest using rechargeable batteries so you don't have to spend a lot on replacing worn out batteries.

• It does not come with any case or carrier.

My recommendation:
Even if I have my dislikes because of long-term use of regular batteries, I will still highly recommend this product because it really effective.
