Crippling Day Without Internet

One might wonder what happened to me while our Internet was down for 2 days. Well, our fibre-optic Internet connection is underwater. That means, it goes through lengths and lengths of pipes under the sea. So whenever there are severed or damaged lines under sea, we always get intermittent connections. It was so bad the other day that I had to sneak using the office Internet to check whether I have blog assignments or none.

Well, I am not "disabled" anymore and back to communicating freely via the world wide web.

Some Kind of Luck

I remember the times when my mom and her friends used to take us out for a quick thrill. We used to go to casinos and play the slot machines and watch other players there. I was already in the right age then so I understood how it worked for her. Honestly, I too found it fun and thrilling especially when your slot machine starts conking out coins that would fill up the bucket in your hand. My mom had won the jackpots many times already and I lost count while dad gets consolation prizes.

Gone are the days when we used to take long drives to get to one of my parents' favorite hangouts - the Regent and that was in Clarke, Pampanga. My browser problems!

I have recently posted an article about my problems with Mozilla and Windows Vista. At the moment, I have connection at home but I cannot enter any site at all! So, you're guessing how I can post this article, right? Well, I am in the public internet cafe so I can log in! My goodness! Times like this, I wish I was an IT expert.

So friends, please bear with me if I do not respond regularly nor drop those e-loves as I figure out how to fix these bugs!

I'll be checking every chance I get. I miss blogging already! And I miss all of you too =)

What's Wrong with Vista?

Can someone please tell me if Vista is a good operating system than the XP? Honestly, I thought it was initially when I bought my laptop last year as it was installed with Vista instead of the XP but as I progress with my usage of the OS (operating system), I find so many quirky things like it hangs, I cannot visit some site (most likely because I have a very tight firewall?!?) which I used to open using XP and now that I have updated my Mozilla, I cannot open Yahoo, I cannot connect but I have my connection all working properly. As a matter of fact, I am using my bro's laptop right now which is also connected in my network at home. Is it Yahoo, is it Mozilla or is it Vista? What's wrong???? So, I don't think I'll be able to post my Milan and Rome pics soon as I figure out what to do. Who are the experts here? Please help!!!!!!!! Do I need to downgrade my Mozilla again to ver 2? I noticed that when I upgraded yesterday to ver 3, I cannot open any sites. Grrrrrrrrrrr. This is just like severing my 2nd lifeline!
