Mickey Mouse, it's your special day today! You have been making us all happy for the past many, many years. And for an 88-year old, you look amazing!

It's always been my lifelong dream to see Mickey. We've been to many Disneyland parks in the past but because he is a very famous character in Disney, it is so hard to get a glimpse of Mickey because there's always a long queue. However, that will not deter me and my family to see him in our next visit to Disney.

Disney And Coach Collaboration For Fashionable Leather Goods

I love Disney! I love Coach! And when two of my favourites join together, they make beautiful pieces of fine fashionable art in terms of bag designs, wallets, clothing, and other accessories. My Nephew's Disney Cars' Themed Birthday Invitation Cards

This is what I have been busy doing during the Eid Holidays. I was asked by my sister-in-law to make few Disney Cars' themed birthday invitation cards for her son's 4th birthday party. Of course, I happily obliged and this is what I have come up with.

My nephew, Jacob, loves the characters of Disney's Cars too so an idea came up. I made a library-kind pouch as envelope and took some pictures from the internet of the Disney's Cars characters (Disney characters and other graphics credit: yahoo images, owned by Disney) and some other clip arts like the black and white checkered border and the race flags. I used my own cutting images for the name, number 4 and the envelope template.

So, here is the finished invitation and I'm very pleased. It's so cute!

Strange But Sweet

I was just going over the current news in Yahoo and stumbled upon a strange and sweet coincidence of a married couple's story. Alex and Donna Voutsinas were going through Donna's childhood photos and was surprised to know what Alex's dad was on the background of one of the photos taken in Disney. Strange!

They fell in love at work and did not know each other from childhood. They even checked with their parents about the photo. Could it be fate, destiny, serendipity or whatever you call it? How sweet...

And they "played" happily ever after

I have been a big, big Disney fun. I could actually call myself a Disney baby because I grew up admiring everything Disney. So it's really a dream come-true when I visited two of Disney's theme parks in Paris and Hong Kong. It's like a time machine transporting me back to being a kid again and what it feels like to be one.

They played the theme songs of their Disney hits
and I can sing to every song playing! Wow, this is how it feels like to be young again.

Movie time - WALL-E

My daughter and I have been raving about this movie since we saw it on the trailer when we watched Kung Fu Panda several weeks ago. My hubby has gladly obliged to take us to the movie today since it's weekend. We took the first screening and we're all glad we watched the film. The main character, Wall-E, reminds me so much of the famous E.T. or Extra Terrestrial which was shown while I was still in grade school.

My family is a huge, huge Disney fan. We just love their movies and cartoons and theme parks well so it's already a given that we'd see this film. Wall-E is a sci-fi, comedy of Disney and Pixar about a lonely robot who discovers something new when he came across a search-robot named EVE. The adventure began when EVE found the key to the planet's future.
