Telling the Story of Your Company with Photos

When it comes to doing research online, most people would rather look at pictures than read a bunch of words. If they come across a wordy website, people will quickly leave it in favor of another simpler website. Rather than turn away potential clients from your business, you can attract newcomers and engage existing clients by posting pictures of your business on social media. By setting up social media accounts and posting pictures on a profile laid out like the Ehsan Bayat afghan wireless page, you can give your clients enough information that they need to learn about your company and understand your message and mission.

A social media account that centers on posting pictures gives you a lot of creative license to personalize your page just the way you want it. It allows you to be both professional and personal. You can create albums that contain pictures that pertain to a certain event. For example, if your company sponsors a food drive each year, you can create an album devoted to that event and post photos of you and your employees collecting donations. Likewise, if your business hosts a major meeting every year, you can post pictures of that meeting and give a description of what topics were discussed that year. This album may be of interest to shareholders who want to stay abreast of any changes or news that relates to your company.

You can also set up what is called a photostream that can consist of random pictures that may not necessarily fit in with any of your established albums. Nonetheless, these pictures may still be of interest to your audience. When your content is shared through social media, your business can in turn achieve a higher search engine ranking. 

In turn, you can favorite pictures and social media pages of other people and organizations on the website. When you favorite pictures or pages, you provide information to your own followers and help them establish connections with those entities. You also can convey an important message about your business' affiliations by favoriting pages and pictures on the website. It shows your audience the causes and businesses with which you have aligned your own company.

Another important feature that comes with the social media page involve joining groups that may share common interests with you and your company. The groups can be either professional or personal. For example, if your company is involved in humanitarian causes, you may want to join groups that advocate the protection of the homeless or feeding hungry children. The groups that you join also help convey your company's message to your audience. Your followers can join the groups as well and have access to any pictures that any group shares. 

Social media offers you a unique opportunity as a business owner. When you want to engage your audience without bogging them down with wordy websites, you can keep them interested in your company by posting pictures on social networking sites. You can also engage with other groups and followers online, as well as promote important events and causes that your company engages in regularly.

I am not much of a "selfie" person who loves to take pictures of myself non-stop. I only do selfies when I feel like it or when I have to post some results of beauty products I have reviewed or when on a trip. Otherwise, I'm okay posing normally along with other people in a single snap.

I actually don't have any selfie stick because I don't see the need for it. However, I did realise that I need one during my trips because sometimes, it's hard to get a picture of my entire family without one being the photographer and missing the whole pictorial thing.

So, I am thankful for this opportunity because it came very timely too. I can use it this weekend on my Euro trip with my friend and what better way to enjoy a scenic tour than to have loads of selfies!

What I like:

Fast charging (only an hour to fully charge)

Has bluetooth and the connectivity is fast and easy

It is lightweight
And it is in PINK!
The handle has a ribbed grip so it doesn't slip
There's a switch on the bottom part of the handle to switch the bluetooth on and off
The bluetooth charger socket is also on the bottom of the handle
Can be plugged to your PC for charging
Has LED indicator when pairing with your phone device


What I don't like:
No strap holder


My recommendation:
Even if this selfie stick doesn't have any strap holder for added security so I don't mistakenly drop the selfie stick, I still find this product very easy to use and really nice to use for selfie sessions and most especially on our trips abroad! Yes, I recommend this product for the selfie enthusiasts, parties, travels and many more.

Review - PhotoSweeper for Mac from Overmacs/Gwinno Software

I think most bloggers will agree to me when I say that bloggers tend to keep so many photos in their computers, flash drives, hard disks and even in their cloud storage. Do you agree? Well, I certainly do. I love taking snaps because I use them for my articles and product/service/hotel reviews and what's an article or review without any valid proof such as image to support them? Right?

Needless to say, my computer and anywhere else I can store my digital photos are bursting at the seams. I think most of the time, I just click and click but forget to delete photos that are duplicate, taken in series and even substandard. This is where PhotoSweeper comes into the picture, no pun intended!

PhotoSweeper is an app in Mac developed by Overmacs/Gwinno Software. It is a great app that will save you time from searching through your photos and remove duplicate copies and even similar ones.

Here are its features:
-Sweeps through your stash of digital photos, compares them and removes duplicate and similar copies

-You can drag and drop your individual photos or even the entire folder from your repository or from iPhoto, Aperture and even from Adobe Lightroom

-You can filter and adjust the ways you want the pictures removed either from the image size, date it was taken, file name

-It is very fast in scanning all your photos

-It will mark any duplicate and similar photos after scanning before you can move them to the trash

-It supports other formats such as DNG (Digital Negative by Adobe) which is commonly used by Lightroom, Photoshop and other Adobe programs

-You can lock the photos you do not want to be moved to the trash

-You can unmark photos that have been marked by PhotoSweep as similar or duplicate by right-clicking and choosing "unmark" from the dialogue box

-Easy to use and very fast

Compatibility:
This app is compatible with Mac using OS X 10.6.6 or later

My recommendation:
I highly recommend this to everyone. This is great for photographers, bloggers, people who have massive collection of photos or almost everyone who wants to organize and reduce redundant photos in their collections. Also, this will be the perfect app for those who want to choose the best shot from a series of photos taken.

This app is a big help for me in sorting my photos which will normally take me days or even weeks to complete. I have finished sorting through my photos taken since September 2013 up to today in just few minutes. Now, I have more extra space and organized photo collection. You should get this app!

25-Hours Open GoodAhh!!! Food Chain

Yes! You read it right! A store open for 25 hours near Greenhills. And here's a proof for that -

I snapped these near the gas station in Greenhills along EDSA on my way to the airport last 25 October. We had a quick stop and took these using my phone. Pardon the dark images since it was only 4:30 in the morning then.

I didn't realize that the GoodAh!! chain opens for 25 hours. Can you explain which time is the 25th hour?

Canon EF Lens Range for Camera Lovers

My husband is an avid photographer. Our daughter seems to follow his footsteps too when it comes to snapping pictures and taking the beautiful angle of a subject, whether it is nature, an object or a person. I don't seem to have that "eye for beauty" as I just click and click without knowing the value of focusing.

The only camera and lens my husband uses is Canon EOS. He has the extended lens to capture subjects from a great distance. I am amazed! He showed me the effect when he shot a NYC cab from the observatory deck of the Rockefeller. It looked so near!!! And we are 70 floors away from the ground. Talk about powerful lens!

So, if you're one of those avid photographers who just can't live without the camera and its accessories, check this out. And if you have been very good, you may even get this from Santa ;)

My hubby has a penchant for photography. It is such a shame that I do not share the same passion as he has. My daughter is also following his footsteps and loves taking snaps of just about anything. I was not surprised when one day, hubby came home with an SLR Canon camera he bought from a colleague who had barely used it. I can see how he loves the camera so much as he tinkers on it every day and cleans it like it is his priced possession. I have never seen him so attached to material things except for his small notebook.

I am glad he bought that camera because we can capture so many priceless poses and candid shots from everybody including our cute pooch named Millie. So, whenever we see him holding his nice camera, we just "smile" and the camera goes "click! click!"

A Wedding in UK

Someone very special to me may just tie the knot in the United Kingdom. I am not sure when but it will be in the not-so-distant future.

My family is very thrilled because she has finally found love. It has been a while since we saw her smiling and getting a bit giddy like a teenager does when she is in love. Yes, it must be love!

I am glad to be a part of that blossoming romance. I must say that the future husband is nice and accommodating of his "new" family.

Clanging of wedding bells seem to be inevitable now with how things are going between them. I am already scouting for Nottingham Wedding Photographer who will cover the ceremony. Although I was not asked to do something "yet," I decided I would. It is like reminiscing the time when I was preparing my own wedding. I would like my special someone to be very happy when her wedding comes. I want her happiness captured in every photographs of that special event so I am keen on looking for an excellent wedding photography in Nottingham.

I know there are more details to cover other than the photograph-taking but I am focusing more on that aspect because every happy and loving emotions will be preserved on those photographs. It will be a plus factor if I get lucky enough to stumble upon a Green Wedding Photographer who will give the ultimate photography service our family deserves.

My Photographer and Cameraman

My husband is very keen in photography and taking videos. He is always the photographer and cameraman during special occasions and holidays. So, in most of our videos and photos, 90% will be poses of myself and our daughter. I do not know why I never had the knack in photography and video-taking.

He has taken these artistic activities a great hobby to engage his time with. During his sister's recent wedding, he was gracious enough to pour his creative juice into action by making a personal video montage of the wedding ceremony. The video montage had the "silent movie" kind of theme taken in black and white. It was beautiful. He gave it to the bride and groom as a gift. His sister and brother-in-law loved his work that he is considering a corporate video production service on the side to augment our income. I think it is a great idea. He can put his passion to good use!

Rainy March

I have never experienced rain in March here in Dubai. We've been here for almost 10 years and this is the first time I saw rain during the month of March. Weird weather shifts happen when the season is to change just like now - the end of winter and the dawn of spring. However, it was scary yesterday with matching gray clouds, thunder and great electrical show in the sky! We had hail some years back prior to the winter season but yesterday we had hail storm in some parts of UAE. I find that rather strange. I guess this is the cause of global warming.

Here are pictures taken yesterday here in Dubai. I credit the photographer who took these shots. They are amazing.


I love this picture above. It's like "Twister Part 3" the Dubai version. It is not common in this part of the world to have this kind of weather phenomenon. Few days before we had this hail, there were several sandstorms signaling the change of the weather but we didn't expect chunks of snow as seen below.

On Losing Valuables

My daughter and her class went to the park for an outdoor class session. They normally do this on the onset of winter when the breeze is cool and still permissive. She asked for the digital camera and so I allowed her, being the good mother that I am (wink...hehehe!). It was more to encourage her artistic nature to kick in while snapping scenery which she loved doing during our recent travels.

Well, no one wants something lose something valuable like a digital camera but during the course of their outing, somewhere, somehow, she managed to lose it and then it was gone.

I still don't know if I will get mad or what but I am not spewing money here. Hello!!! On the other hand, it's just an object and is replaceable but if I had gotten mad at her, I might have said something I would deeply regret for the rest of my life. I thank the grace of the Lord for giving me the patience and the discernment to just let it go. I cannot bind myself with earthly things.

I am glad I didn't utter any hurtful words that can break my daughter's heart all because of one digital camera.
