Review - Yumi Vitamin C Serum #YumiBeautiful

I have tried several beauty serums already in the past. Some are thick and concentrated, some are light but Yumi comes in the middle when it comes to consistency. I like this beauty serum for so many reasons:

It has gentle formulation but is very effective. If I am to compare it to the other brands I have tried, this does not sting at all.

It has 25% active Vit. C blend which helps brighten and lighten the skin tone.

It is also used for your neck and decolletage.

It has extracts from these superfruits:

  • Pomegranate
  • Green Tea
  • Blackberry
  • Cranberry
  • Acai Berry
  • Goji Berry
  • Noni
  • and Kale

It has soothing aloe vera so I don't feel any sting on my face.

It evens out the tone of my face. I don't use blush on anymore as my skin became a bit pinkish which is a positive glow!

The dryness of my skin has diminished.

It is light-weight and easily absorbed by the skin.

You can wear moisturizer and even foundation and makeup on top of it.

It has a nozzle rather than an eyedropper applicator.

This product is available from Amazon.

I give this product my thumbs up! It's lightweight in formulation but very effective!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

The Fruit with the Highest Antioxidant

It's not the blueberry but it's a berry too. It's the Acai fruit; an indigenous fruit of the Amazon rain forest which is also a berry but darker in color than the blueberry. The freeze-dried berry has more times the disease-arresting anthocyanins of red grapes. The good benefits of having this fruit are the following among others:

lowers bad cholesterol level
chock-full of Vitamins B
inhibits inflammation
fights off arthritis
boosts energy level
fights depression
supports weight loss
improves sound sleep
improves mental clarity/focus
strengthens your immune system
helps improve patients suffering from leukemia

Chia Seeds - Small Seed With A Punch of Health Benefits

Chia seeds are slightly smaller than the sesame seeds. It is also known as Salvia Hispanica which is a part of the mint family, the Lamiacaea which is native to Guatemala and Mexico.

This tiny seed is cultivated for commercial use because of its high level of nutritional value. It has calcium, protein, manganese and phosphorus. Aside from the nutrients, it also has plenty of health benefits like:

  • It is a good source of plant's Omega fatty acid oil.
  • It is hydrophilic which means, it absorbs more water than their weight making you feel fuller. This is great for athletes as it helps them stay hydrated.
  • It aids in weight loss for dieters as chia seeds have the ability to block calories in our digestive system because it gels. And when it gels, it helps in blocking absorption of calories.
  • It also provides antioxidant properties.

The red and tart cherry has a number of health benefits. Cherries are natural source of the hormone melatonin which is a strong antioxidant. It also contains phenolic compounds that helps protect neurodegeneration.

Cherries have high contents of anthocynanins which help reduces inflammation. Daily consumption of cherries reduce cholesterol and triglycerides. These succulent fruits are also great in aiding sleep and preventing memory loss.  It is also high in fiber so it reduces the risk of colon and rectal cancer and other diseases relative to the digestive tract.
