I have a sedentary type of work that requires 8.5 hours of continuous sitting. At some point, I develop back pains because of prolonged sitting and it is very important I get the right support for my condition.

What I like: 
It has adjustable straps that can fit 26-40" chest size.
It can be worn under a shirt if you want to be discreet.
It can be worn outside the shirt which makes it versatile.
It comes in 2 colours: black and white
It is not bulky.
It is lightweight.
It has big beads on the lower back support to simulate the normal curvature of the spine.

Can be worn during workouts/exercise and other physical activities requiring back support
Slightly padded so it doesn't put unnecessary pressure on my skin.

What I don't like:
Taking it off is not much of a challenge but not as easy as I would have thought.  I had to ask my husband to assist in taking it off from my shoulders. Otherwise, it is not very cumbersome but an effort has to be exerted to be able to take it off.

Review - Top Quality Reflective Vest Harness

If you're into walking, running, cycling or even the simple task of walking the dog, then this is the perfect reflective vest harness to own and wear.

Walking my dog before was a great challenge. I used to look over my shoulders when I walk my dog because before I don't have any reflective vest or indicator to suggest my and dog's presence on the busy street along our building premise. There is a park near our place but we have to walk half a mile to reach it. And our place is just right in front of a major thoroughfare to pass by which can be challenging for me and my dog. So, we always end up walking on the very narrow sidewalk, check every now and then for oncoming traffic and then pass. Sometimes, we traverse the sandy vacant lots which is not very good for my little dog's paws. There should be a more safer and better way to go to the park without having to drive there nor walk across sandy vacant lots.

The Top Quality reflective vest harness is so perfect that I feel more safe walking outdoors because of the reflectors. I also like the fact that this reflective vest is so stylish that while it does not cover my whole upper body, I still have enough visibility and coverage at the same time with the V-pattern in front and X-pattern of the reflector at the back.

I can also adjust the vest according to my body frame without it making too snug or too loose.

It is also lightweight and very easy to use and I don't have to fumble just to attach the snaps together.

This is a very good vest to have for that extra precaution while going about your daily walking/running and even cycling routine. Aside from the extra precaution you will get, you also have that extra visibility now. I highly recommend this reflective vest harness. It's for your safety.

Grazia Silicone 24 Cup Mini Muffin Pan Review #muffinpans

I have several muffin pans, some big, some small but this is the first time I have ever used a silicone pan. I can see so many reason why more and more people are switching to silicone trays and pans because of the many benefits they give compared to the metal ones.

Grazia Silicone 24 Cup Mini Muffin Pan was given to me for evaluation. I was excited to test it because I want to see and experience the results myself and have a comparison to the metals pans that I normally use when I bake.

What I like:
It is made of high-grade silicone which is FDA approved and safe on baking. Silicone is said to be inert so it does not react with food even on high temperatures.

It can stand heat of up to 450˚F which is way hotter than what is required for baking cake, cookies, etc.

It is easily washed and dried. It is also safe for dishwasher.

It bakes fast. I normally bake for 20-30 mins. for the usual chocolate muffin but I baked a wheat bran muffin which was even denser and it baked around 15 mins. tops.

You don't have to grease it too much. Just a few spritz of my cooking oil onto the silicone mat was enough to keep my muffin sliding off when baked.

It is flexible and easy to pop the muffin out without having to use any utensils to prop the muffin out of the pan unlike when using the metal ones.

It did not emit any weird odor. Some people said that low-grade silicone bakeware sometimes emit odor which maybe the harmful "fillers/chemicals" used. This Grazia Silicone 24 cup mini muffin pan did not have any odor while I was baking.

It will save you money over a long period of time because it is very durable.

It is impervious to rust!

It will not get scratches when you take your muffin out of the pan. Be careful though to use a sharp utensil as it will go through the silicone pan.



What I don't like:
Nothing.  I am very surprised that I find this bakeware better than the metal pans I have gotten used to.  I like this product a lot and I may shift to silicone bakewares now.

My recommendation:

And the very small amount you will apply on your skin will make the product go a long way due to it high potency.

Review - Petunia Skincare Professional Hyaluronic Acid & Vit. C Moisturizing Serum

I'm past my 40s and I know it is about time I take charge of my skin regimen before the signs of aging totally eat me up. I'm glad that there are serums out there that we can use to delay the signs of aging and Petunia Skincare Professional Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin C Moisturizing Serum is a great product to use to for that matter.

What is Hyaluronic Acid?
It is a nutrient that helpt in retaining moisture to the skin and aiding in a healthy and youthful appearance. It is great for hydrating skin cells and helping fine lines become less visible.

Hyaluronic Acid is a potent nutrient which helps the skin plus the added Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid makes this product very effective because Vitamin C stimulates the production of collagen to bring back skin's natural elasticity. What I like:
It's more translucent than the other serums I have tried with a thicker consistency so it doesn't run on your finger when you apply.

It makes my skin softer.

It makes my skin more fair.

It doesn't make my skin oily and that's a good thing for me. Most moisturizers I have tried leaves my skin shiny and oily.

This is not only a serum that helps delay the signs of aging by making the lines finer so they become less visible.  This serum is also a moisturizer which helps hydrate skin.

I can see that the larger pores around my nose area has slightly diminished in size.

It's not tested on animals.



What I don't like:
The other serums I have tried do not have a scent but this one does. It's not very overpowering but for some weird reasons, it's making me sneeze. It has a faint floral scent but like I said, it's not very strong. It's just that I prefer using unscented ones. However, the scent does not affect the effectivity of this product. It's still a great serum to use. I just wish it didn't have that "faint floral" scent.

My recommendation:

I highly recommend this product because it is really effective and I think this is a triple threat to the signs of aging - a moisturizer and a serum with Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid - all great and potent nutrients our skin needs to combat and delay the signs of aging.

Puffy Ivory Project

I have seen some videos in YouTube about a piece of an Ivory soap being microwaved and that piece expanded to a puff of whiteness. I am not sure how that happened so I and my daughter tried it with a very small piece because I don't want the whole thing occupying my microwave. I set the microwave for 30 seconds only. And voila!

Yes! It does expand into a thing of puffy whiteness. We poked it. We touched it and tried to mould it again but it became flaky but still sudsy and worked like a soap. Amazing! A piece of Ivory can turn into a bigger piece of weird puff of whiteness that you can still use. Saves you money big time!

Review - Amara Vitamin C Serum

Aging is one of the natural course of our humanity. We cannot stop it but we can surely delay it. Products have been developed to help people like myself who have reached their 40s and the skin tends to show signs of aging like age spots, fine lines and wrinkles. I have used it for 2 weeks now and I can tell a significant change and feel to my facial lines and age spots.  However, I have a fair complexion so the pictures below may not show any justice on how well the product works. You will notice that on the photo taken on 5 March, the ones where the arrows point are my age spots on my right upper cheek. They seem to look smaller too.

I like this serum because it's lightweight on the skin.
It gets easily absorbed by the skin.
It reduces fine lines and age spots.
Makes my skin brighter, supple and soft.
It's invisible when applied to the skin.
It protects my skin from the UV rays.
It has Vitamin E and Hyaluronic acid which are both powerful anti-aging proponents.
It does not give you a sting when you apply it on your skin.
It doesn't contain paraben.


What I don't like:
Nothing, it's a great product.

Review - Sabi Holster Grande XL Daily Pill Clip Case

I have been looking for a pill box that is not very bulky and cumbersome to take around every day and even during my trips. I have been using my current pill box for some time now and I think, the timing cannot be more perfect when I received my complimentary Sabi Holster Grande XL Daily Pill Clip Pill Box.

The Sabi Holster Grande XL Daily Pill Clip Pill box can hold up to 14 smaller/thinner tablets/pills. I actually managed to put 5 big, jelly-like Fish oil capsules and in the main compartment case and 2 big/thick capsules in the smaller receptacle. And for the secret case, I managed to put 6 very small pills, about 3/4 of a centimeter. 

What I like:

It is almost half the size of my current rectangular pill box.

It is lightweight even when filled.

It has a clip so you can clip it on your bag’s pocket or even your shirt pocket.

It has clickable sides to let it slip open.

It has a secret compartment that can hold at least 3-6 small pills/tablets.

It is washable.

It is BPA-free.


What I don't like:
There is no indication that the compartment is facing you or opposite when  you click to open. One time, I forgot to check which side is up (compartment wise) and quickly clicked open, my pills/tablets all fell on the table. I would suggest that the manufacturer puts a clear-view cut just so you know if the compartment is facing you or not. You can actually make out when you check the flap of the secret compartment. So, if you see the secret compartment's flap is facing you then your pill compartments are on the right side. Then again, you will not always be able to do that if you're in a hurry.

My recommendation:
I recommend this pill box based on my personal experience. I prefer a slimmer pill box that doesn’t take much space in my bag. This pill box is slim and has a clip on that can be clipped on the side of my bag so I know where exactly to find it. Also, comparing it to my other rectangular pill box, this is not cumbersome and definitely not bulky which I prefer. It is easy to carry around even on travels.

This is the last one I opened from the pack. It' so cute and it's so duct tape! I love the funky splash of color designs on the mini-roll I got. So, I used it to my sticky pad as a pen holder. It's great for frames and other art projects you have in mind that can use a little creativity and splash of color. Since it is a duct tape, we all know how strong the adhesive is so it'll be great for repair as well, not just crafting.

Aurorae Yoga Sling Backpack Bag Review

My package from Aurorae finally arrived last Thursday! I have waited for this sling backpack for almost a month. And it was worth the wait.

I have to use it for a week to test its durability. I always bring plenty of stuff and I want to make sure that it cn hold so much, not just yoga mat, spare towel, water jug and all. I am happy to say it passed the durability test.

It is comfy and has a cushion on the strap to make it easy on the shoulder blades. So if you are carrying something heavy, it helps lighten the feeling without causing stress on your shoulders and back.

The earphone jack slot is really handy too. No need to strap the poor phone to your arm or chucked in your pockets and no need for nosy wires tangling here and there. That one is a great addition to the bag.

The yoga bag holder is a nice feature of the sling bag. No need for slinging it around your shoulders with the bag. That means you do not have to carry two things when you can just carry one. Very neat!

And lastly, the sling backback is asking for things. It is spacious and the pockets can hold a lot of trinkets to keep your stuff in order and organized. You'll never run out of places to stuff your things in with this bag.

I do recommend this bag for yoga enthusiasts and even active people. It can withstand heavy load and maintain its form and still look good and comfortable to carry around. I will definitely use this for my yoga sessions and other activities outdoors and indoors.
